I’m a true out & out Irish Republican & don’t believe in the concept of monarchy & would like to see its demise on the island of Ireland. However, the Queen is Harry’s grandmother & even if you aren’t a monarchist having some respect for a woman three time your age & your husband’s grandmother is required. ESPY and all those involved have insulted American veterans twice over. First by announcing theyre giving the award to a NONE AMERICAN who in my opinion has done nothing to justify it. Then after the backlash they put out a statement saying it was because of invictus 🤔 Right there they have unsulted american veterans again IF IT GOES TO ANYONE IT SHOULD HAVE GONE TO THE WARRIOR GAMES!!! If thats their arguement, its a pretty lame argument if you ask me. Even Pats mother has been insulted by the award and is clearly not happy but its all about the money it has nothing to do with supporting veterans or honouring the dead in my opinion.
